Compassionate Honors 

At the Veteran Funeral Honors Liaison, we recognize that some veterans face unique and difficult circumstances at the time of their passing. Our  Compassionate Honors ensures that these heroes still receive the dignity, respect, and honors they deserve.

Who Qualifies:

Hardship Service is reserved for:

• Homeless Veterans – who may not have access to family or resources for proper honors.
   
• Veterans with no immediate family – ensuring no one is forgotten or buried without tribute.
   
• Veterans who pass under tragic circumstances, including:
   
  • Homicide
     
  • Accidents resulting in loss of life
     
  • Suicide
     

Our Commitment:
Through our Compassionate Honors Program, we assist families and organizations by coordinating funeral honors at no cost. We do not replace the official military honor guard, but rather help connect, organize, and support the process to ensure everything comes together smoothly. We work closely with retiree associations, veteran organizations, and community partners to make certain these veterans receive the recognition they have earned through their honorable service.
